Spicy Fish Curry

Today I am going to tell you how I make my fish curry. This curry can be made as a curry or you can simmer it and have it with rice. But today I am making this to eat with string hoppers and because of that, I won't be simmering it much.

This curry goes really well with anything...

You can have this with anything. It doesn’t matter whether it's rice, bread, string hoppers, roti, or paratha because this goes really well with anything. So when making this, I am not adding any coconut milk and we will be adding a lot of spices. Because of that we can keep this refrigerated for a long time and enjoy it even after a few days.

Spice Mix

Also, I should say that I am not a big fan of cloves, cardamom, or cinnamon but to make this curry tastes better, we cannot skip those. That is mainly because that stuff gives a good flavor to the fish curry. But what I do is I turn those spices into a paste and add them to the curry. Even you can use this trick to add these spices to the curry, and if not you can break these spices into small pieces and just add them. The other way is you can just add these when you are tempering the curry.

Alright, so let's give this recipe a try.
